ONE WAY I DESCRIBE MYSELF

ONE WAY I DESCRIBE MYSELF

ONE WAY I DESCRIBE MYSELF

one of my best soft smiles on record

Hi - I’m Kalina. I am an all-around design engineer, researcher, and strategist with a deep foundation in mechanical product development complemented with a Stanford graduate education in expansive design thinking applied to research and strategy.

Previously, I designed and scaled the battery air cathode as an early mechanical engineer at Form Energy, a startup aiming to bring renewable reliability to the grid through multi-day storage.

I’m drawn to complex and interconnected problems that require systemic theories of change that put people in closer relationship with the planet and each other. I believe that creating a more joyful future necessitates designing with joy right now and that working on hard problems can be fun (and funny - comedic relief goes a long way)!
